    360 & My laptop

    Hi guys...

Call me thick, but my friend told me if i was to get the right cables and connect my 360 up to my laptop through VGA, i would finally benefit the HD part of my xbox.

    Is that true?

And is this the cable i need

Only if your laptop has a VGA input and I've never seen a laptop with a VGA input. They may be out there, but I've never seen one

You'd use that cable to connect to a VGA monitor or an HDTV with a VGA input. Not your laptop though.

Well if you're currently running it on a normal telly, switching to a PC monitor will let you run it in HD. You'll get a higher resolution and more detailed picture. I've read posts by a lot of people on here who have bought cheap widescreen LCD monitors to use with their 360's.

You won't be able to use your laptop screen though. Like I said I haven't heard of any laptops that will let you plug something in via VGA to use the laptop screen.
