    PSP PSX Emulation, what do you need to play your own psx games?

    anyway i got a new one this morning from sony. could someone provide me the best way to get it downgraded easily enough so i can play some psx games.

    Could be wrong but I think one of the easiest to downgrade from was 2.71 as you didn't need to faff around with the GTA save.

    So maybe you need to upgrade to 2.71 before downgrading if that makes sense.

    If you look through the PSP PS1 and maybe the CPS2 emu thread you should see the usual suspects as per other sites to look through for the files.

        heh. don't worry about it, managed to downgrade it to 1.50 then upgrade it to 3.02b. so how do you set it up to play psx games, i dont have a clue where to start on that now.

          u need popstation

          the base.pbp file (hot shots 2 or clean version)

          and the psx iso of choice.

          good guides are available at the maxconsole forums

            Converting PS1 games has come on a long way beyond needing to find Hot Shots Golf and all that. Just download Simple Popstation GUI from here and it contains all the stuff you need to convert and compress them, complete with custom icons and stuff. Nice and easy.
