Is there any way of buying Gold subscriptions online without a credit card? I need to top up but on the main Live site you can only use credit cards.

Don't think so.

Might be worth taking a look on ebay as there're usually people selling 12 months codes for below the rrp. I think I paid < £25 for mine & the guy e-mailed the code within a couple of hours.
