Request for 'a recorder' of video-games

[My son is disabled and is unable to use a computer or games console. I'd be grateful if someone would help him with the request and I'll pass on any replies to him.]

    Hello,
I'd be grateful if someone could help me. As a video-game player for many years since the days of Intellivision, I've been addicted to videogames and I really miss being able to play them myself (since 2001). However, despite this, I read all the magazines I can in order to keep up with the latest game developments and am also an avid Retro Game enthusiast. I've at last managed to acquire a NeoGeo AES, a console that I've always wanted. Mind you, it might take a while before I can afford some games.
I'd be really grateful if someone out there could compile some videotape(s) of gameplay sequences for various games and systems (not FMV sequences or pre-rendered intros).

Would anyone willing to do this please contact me? I'd be willing to pay a small sum for each tape as it would mean a lot to me to be able to see some of these games in action and also help to fill the hours when I'm stuck in my room.
Here are some of the consoles and videogames I'd love to see on gameplay footage:-

NeoGeo - Metal Slug series, Nam 75, Magician Lord, Garou, Waku, Driftout, Pulsar, Last Resort, Samurai Shodown, etc.
XBOX - Jet Set Radio Future, Rocky, Halo2, Powerdrome, Crazy Taxi 3, Project Gotham 2, Guilty GearX2, Dead or Alive games, Fable, Tomb Raider Legend.
PS2 - God of War, Ico, Colossus, Tekken5, Soul Caliber 3, Twisted Metal Black, Okami, Virtua Fighter4 Evo.
Dreamcast(My most recent console) - Aerowings1&2, Tokyo Highway 2, Powerstone games, Rival Schools, 18 Wheeler, Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike, Tokyo Bus Guide.
Saturn - especially:- Nights, Silvergun, Guardian Heroes, Burning Rangers, plus any 2D games.
PC Engine - Castlevania, Chan+Chan, R-Type, Rayxanber 3, Ninja Warriors, Street Fighter, Gradius.
Really any games will do, these are just some of those I'd like to see.
Possibly an emulator could be used, providing it's accurate.

I'd be really grateful if someone could do this for me. A VHS videotape (PAL) is best but my TV + Video can play 60Hz tapes if needed. A DVD may be OK (I have a DVD Player but haven't got it set up yet).
You don't need to be an expert games player, I'd just like to see as much footage of the game as possible, so please cheat if you have to!
I even like to watch the computer fight itself in fighting games - in Ultra Hard Mode of course.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help,
    Many thanks,

    Richard.

Have you looked a Youtube at all? I don't know about many of the games but certainly some of the big recent ones like Halo 2 there are loads of gameplay video and compilation videos which may be of interest.

Hey Id love to be able to help but I dont have anything to record on to, but again if possible youtube can be good or try the speed demo archives which has many games played through to completion, although sometimes very very quickly, I hope you find some good stuff

Although, I have a fair ammount of the speed demos downloaded, I wouldnt mind burning them to a dvd, PM me if your interested

Only scanned this thread, but as far as the more retro consoles are concerned I'd recommend retro core -

        Hope that's useful.

Try http://www.super-play.co.uk/ - there are full playthroughs of over 100 games on there including the Metal Slug series, Pulstar, Ico, Silvergun and Gradius. As the name suggests they're "super play" videos, so you might not appreciate the amosphere of Ico by watching someone sprint through it as fast as possible, but it's better than nothing.

I was going to mention my Retro Core show. That features loads of games including some of the ones in your list. The only downside is that you have to listen to me blabbering on over the games

It must be awful not being able to play video games. Have you check out unusual hardware designed for disability to use with computer.

I assume you will not be able to use a joypad / mouse / keyboard / joystick. Are there anything you can use with ie voice recognition or whatever or maybe control a mouse by using a head pointer. It might not be the answer for arcade gaming, but you might be able to play tactial / planning / puzzles games with mouse control.

I can't play some games due to lack of information as it rely on speech too much (I am deaf)

                An interesting article found http://www.videoludica.com/news.php?news=226&lang=en
