Can anyone recommend me some decent homebrew stuff for my PSP?

Just downgraded to 1.50 and really want to get stuck into to all the homebrew related goodness. Some nice games or programs maybe to get me started along with some easy to follow instructions or a pointer or 2 in the right direction would be good.

    Cheers.

I've not looked into PSP Homebrew for 6-9 months, have a scout around on www.pspupdates.qj.net, most homebrew stuff will be on there to download, think they give a brief description of the games also, and possibly even a rating.

Been reading up on something called SCUMMVM which apparently runs classic point n click games on the PSP - wouldn't mind giving this a try.

Found the website for it, but I don't seem to be able to find any decent documentation on getting the thing downloaded and working.

      Anyone got this? Opinions?

I use ScummVM on mine. The nub is a bit unwieldy for playing point and click games but otherwise it's perfect. Can't beat Sam & Max, Full Throttle, Monkey Island, Broken Sword, etc on the move. All you need to do is download this file, unzip it, and stick the two folders inside the "1.50-eboot" folder into the PSP/GAME folder on the Memory Stick.

Outside of the obvious emulators, I also recommend trying out PiMPStreamer. It's a PSP app and a Windows counterpart, and it'll transcode video/audio files on your PC and stream it wirelessly over a network connection to the PSP. Works brilliantly.

Or you could upgrade to the custom firmware 3.03 and try some of the exciting new PSX emulation.

FFVII on the move ftw...my PSP is resurrected!
