    Mini PCs

Hello. Im interested in getting a mini pc but I don't know where to start. I'm after something on a similar size to the mini mac. I'm after it mainly for games but it has to be small and under ?500. I'd build one myself but I don't know what im doing.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get one

    Cheers!

Evesham sell a rebadged version of the latest AOpen mini PC. Costs £699 for the base version or £899 for the XL version. http://www.evesham.com/products/info...7-8E2CBAE23BBC

A similarly specced Mac mini costs less and comes with Bluetooth 2 and a remote control. Not to mention OS X and iLife. With Boot Camp you could even install XP on the mini.
Of course both those systems use onboard Intel graphics which is useless for the latest games.
For a sub £500 mini PC you would be better off looking at a SFF based system.

The only 'mini' pc your going to find that will play any decent games is a shuttle, and they ain't that small.

You should have a look into mini-atx or micro-atx motherboard technology, I have a mini-atx machine which is absolutely tiny, but then Its really low spec so I only use it as a test server for web development stuff. I have no idea what they would be like for games, but I imagine not that good.
