USB PS3 Sony Dual Shock 2 question

Ok so I've created a USB Dual Shock 2 pad. What I want to know is if I'll get rumble on PS2 games that are running on my PS3. PS3 will recognise a standard USB controller right, and all buttons/sticks will be the correct DS2 layout? I'm a little scared to try it out just incase I blow something, having never done anything like this before. I'd appreciate any advice.

No, I don't think you will get vibration. A third party did the same thing as you, and they couldn't either.
