Rechargeable batteries for Wii remote

This may have been asked before, but can anyone recommend suitable rechargeable batteries for the Wiimote.

The instructions say don't use ni-cad rechargeables, but it doesn't say DON'T use rechargeable batteries. It also says to always use alkaline batteries, so I'm not exactly clear on what would be OK to use.

I use rechargables with no worries. There's quite a bit of rechargable battery info on the forums, basically go for something with a good mAh rating - over 2000 is good, 2500 is better. You can get them dead cheap on ebay too.
