Freeware for drive formatting in XP?

I need to format a hard drive to FAT32 but XP won't do the trick as it's above 32GB. Can anyone recommend a free program to help?

Download the hard drive utility from the manufacturers website and put onto a floppy.Boot pc with floppy inserted(maybe need to change boot order in bios).Run low level format utility and your hd will be back to its initial state.

Download the CD image, burn it and boot your PC from this CD. Go to the HDD section and choose one of the many formatting tools inside.

I dont think you can format a drive to fat32 if it is above 32GB.

That is only Microsoft limit that they put in XP and older versions. I think any higher than that actually becomes less efficient.

I could've sworn I submitted a reply to this thread, but it seems to have disappeared

              Anyway, cheers for the replies

Ah cool I did not know! Actually it should be obvious to me since I have an 80Gig USB hard drive that is fat32
