PS2 Networking HDLD Dumb/Dump??

Hi all,
Having probs networking my PS2.
Can get execftp to run and connect and browse the hdd and mc with execftp and flashfxp no probs. However havign problems with HDL Dumb/Dump. I can get the server side running on the PS2 but don't seem to be able to get the PC to communicate with it.
I'm trying to copy some of my original bought games to the HDD via FTP with no luck. I have taken a look at some guides of afterdawn etc. but they have been no help. Can anyone give me a beginners guide to getting it working???

Your actually better off connecting the HDD to PC (you can use an external caddy and connect externally via USB if that's easier) and installing using Winhiip, as that has better handling of fragmentation etc.

Hey there, are you using a router of straight to ya PC?
I assume ya using the GUI rather than Dump. What error messages are you getting? (timing out, refused connection etc)

Running a laptop and don't have a caddy so wantedto FTP. Figured out problem I was using incompatible versions (Duh)! I had version 0.8.5 on the PS2 server side and a different revision on the PC side. I switched to HDL_Dumb 0.8.5 P.C side with the simple GUI and all is well!
