WMV help needed please

HI all I have winavi and Tmpgenc for encoding WMV but neither really do what I want and are way too fussy.
I need something that can conver .ts or a .mpg from a .ts to a WMV.
I also (due to a fat32 hdd) need a WMV splitter as I have an 8 gig file I need to cut down.

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker? Comes with XP. It's ok.

Make sure you have this

I'm sure bink and smacker lets you split the file as you encode.

I have the windows stuff, for the splitter I need to split an 8gig file that is already encoded as wmv to under 4 gig chunks
