Wow guys, I'd love a projector. Is it really worth it over a normal size TV?

The problem is that now I'll never be able to justify spending any kind of money on a regular TV, ever again. I think it's going to be some time before I have the space and money to create a games room like I had at my flat. That room was the perfect shape for it and everything.

A friend picked up an Optoma HD65 a year back. 720p on an 84 inch 16:9 scree. Cost around 525 I think. I thought it'd be crap, and was stunned to see it in action. I'm not a big fan of DLP tech, and prefer LCD even though in my price range you get better blacks out of DLP. But still, his setup looked great and made me realise you could get a huge screen for not much money.

My advice guys is to look into it. Optoma do a very affordable range of DLPs.

Nah mate it won't be for a while when I finish uni, get a job and move out but it's gonna be something I'll look into when I do!

I've got rid of the Xbox 360, and replaced it with the PS2 BB Navigator. Totally Sony now. That's Ace Combat 04 installing to the BB Unit in case you're wondering.
Not the best picture in the world, but you get the idea. The shelves are straight IRL too
