Meant to do this months ago. Had my room redecorated last summer and got new furniture and whatnot. Not the most extravagant, but it serves my needs and nothing beats a CRT for retro!

Krish where are those pics you promised?

And yeah that looks sick. Does that HP have component in or are you using the unofficial VGA cable?

          Thanks both.

Yes, it has component for the Wii and VGA for the 360. Unfortunately the scaling's poor but I try not to think about it!

God I've been meaning to put up pics for months since I got my room done up. Maybe I'll do it later this week.

I am in the same boat - been meaning to post pics of my new flat since I've moved but I keep thinking there are other bits I'd like to get done first. Love watching this thread though, some great setups.

Hoping to have pictures of my remitted set-up posted early next week. Cleared the majority of the living room last night - only TV, amp & PS3 left although the amp could go and leave the other 2. Bookcases stripped and in the middle of the room.

Getting paint today and once I've cleaned down the skirting boards I'm good to go. Have a couple of friends helping me out so should be relatively quick.

The two main delays will be waiting for the old fireplace to be taken off the wall and getting to Ikea to buy the new TV unit. It's all Akihabara's fault for having that Lack bench!

All the pics of my now non-existant flat and setup are now de-hosted and lost forever. Gutted.

Haha! Well the projector is getting installed as we speak, so I'll get them in tonight!

@Pat, what's that you've got your macbook sat on? I need something like that I think.

It's an mStand. It's very expensive at £50.

I'm not sure whether I recommend it or not. It looks pretty good, but the problem, at least with my setup is that the external monitor cable is too heavy to stay in place on its own. I requisitioned a third hand to prop up the extra weight, which stops it disconnecting.

Damn modern computers for having no screw fixings!

@nakamura: I sit on 2 seater couch. I can't really sit in a chair for more than 30 minutes, I tend to change seating position constantly. Sometimes I want to sit, sometimes I want to lie down, or sometimes a combination. I also have a recliner, but it hardly gets used.

So here we are folks, projector is installed!

The projector still needs some adjusting, so im looking to get it calibrated, but overall the set-up is lovely and the 3D via the projector is incredible. Definitely the way it was intended to be seen!
