      2 xboxes + a Q = broken dvd player.

also a plasma would look good on that wall at the back.

currently sitting on my old computer desk until the new floor has been laid and I buy a nice Alphason Glass LCD Stand for them to sit next to one another along with my Pioneer dvd player

Here's my "slumming it" uni set up, (and if I could afford an LCD/Plasma believe me it'd be in there)

24" Toshiba 16:9 Flat Screen CRT with some newly aquired speakers I found reduced from ?50 ($90) to ?25 ($45) the other day. They carry an awesome sound, far better than the TVs integrated Nicam stereo. Oh and it's all sat on a ?40 Argos TV/entertainment cabinet

Modded PS2, Jpn Switched (for US) black Cube, PAL purple Cube, Crystal Xbox (prolly kicked out next month due to crapness, space wasting and not being used, my DC is on the floor atm so will prolly go there instead)

The awesome shelving unit you get in your uni halls room DVDs on middle shelf, and all the games on bottom shelf (I had to restrict what I bought to must haves due to lack of space)

My Shuttle PC, handy for taking back home on the train and probably the only way of doing it before the Mac Mini is released. Nice Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 17" flat screen CRT monitor with LCD quality display so basically, the best of both worlds, clear image and no response/refresh problems or unintentional motion blur in games. Inside the hood of the shuttle is a 2500+ XP Athlon Barton, ATi Radeon 9600XT, 512mb DDR (hoping to double that) and 80gig HDD (again hope to at least double that) does everything I need tho

Hope you like, would love to improve it a bit but can't see that happening until I move into a house in september as theres really not alot more I can do with it with the space I've got.

yeah it's a towerblock right next to the main admin buildin opposite coventry cathedral means I'm very limited as to what I can do as I ain't allowed to drill any holes anywhere and the shelving they provide is pap.

nope, you've got to sort out your own insurance when you get there - there are normally specialist uni insurers like Endsleigh (sp?) doing special offers when you first move in to halls. Although in London it's still bloody expensive!

Thought i may aswell add my lot was thinking about getting a plasma but decided to go for a projector until i have the cash for a decent plasma(and surround sound)!

Console setup(inc. my poor attempt at surround sound):

Projector(Panasonic AE300 - also have a 21inch set in the same room for daytime tv/games):

Games(Japanese PS2/GC/DC/GBA - psone games and boxsets not on show):

*will update lata with some pics of the projector running(on my makeshift screen )
