Just splashed out on a new laptop!

Only use the screen behind for my all my consoles except my 360 as it looks better than it does on the larger TV. I still need a new surround sound system.

that screens a philips 17pf9946, I got a 23pf9946, few posts back theres a pic.. really nice screens, dvi & vga so pc and 360 are in at the same time.. which is neat, not hdmi tho which is a bugger

and redzoo, yeah the 360 is sat ontop of the hifi.. its the perfect fit, which is good. and.. i'd never thought about speakers corrupting the memcards.. but.. it aint happened yet, the ps2 cards seem to be well reliable, never had an issue, yet...

That looks really nice! I just have a crappy ancient desk to put all my stuff on. I need to spend some more moolah and go down to Ikea some day

BTW Kenny, where did you get the desk? I need one like that - right now I just have all my equipment piled up.

I can REALLY crank stuff up from thursdays to sundays as that's when outside is filled with shouting burnley t**ts and crap music.

Hows the snes connected, is running through a special gizmo to make it look nice?

Have pretty much the same model TV, but haven't tried anything too retro on it yet.

Nothing special - just an RGB scart is all.

The 17" doesn't have DVI or at least my one doesn't. I thought it was a great screen for PC use until I got my new laptop. Its so blurry when using a PC on it (VGA) in comparison to my MacBook Pro which has a gorgeous screen.

I thought i was nuts spending 600 quid on what was pretty much gonna be my pc screen but my god its worth it in every way. Thru the dvi socket its insanely crisp, the 360 comin thru on vga is nigh on faultless too. If i could've waited a bit i would've gone for one of those samsungs too tho.
