heres the setup in my new flat, still not as tidy as i would like, got to clear up the cables begind the tv and the console unit. and tv is in the stages of being mounted on the wall as is the unit its currently standing on.

pc is just to the right as well, out of picture.

I've been a member here a few years but never posted my setup, excuse the kiddies toys, during the day our lounge is a playroom too You can see the reflection of some "Bloks" in the glass on the unit!!

So, my TV...Samsung 32" LCD



Unit that holds the consoles/etc next, not much in the DVD spaces because my 2 year old likes to grab em, so we chucked the 3 Lord of the Rings limited edition boxes in there, he ignores them for some reason!



Inside the unit now, top shelf : PS3 (pal) and Sky HD box.



Bottom shelf : HD-DVD Player, Xbox 360 (Pal), Nintendo Wii (Pal) and Sony 5.1 surround sound unit...very very old and the last thing that needs replacing in my setup.



Game shelf now, I keep my games to a minimum nowadays pretty much selling them when I'm finished with them. Got some PS2 games in the loft I think too! DS games, HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray discs (not pictured) on the shelf below.



Finally, shot from the middle of the room, as I said, excuse the mess. Vision Cam on top of the TV, Wii sensor bar underneath middle speaker...was on top but find it better there, little lad seems better with "objects" now and so leaves it alone. You can see an upturned potty to the left and the 360 guitar for guitar hero to the right. If you look closely you may even spot a blue duvet that I am currently using for the sofa when my 1 month old (1 month today, Christ a month has gone quickly) is upset during the night when I have to be up at 4am for work!



So there we have it, fairly modest set up with some nice kit nestled amongst it

new malden = little korea!! lol, nearly 80% of the population is korean now!! im not racist, but damn, there are loads! thanx for the compliment, i love your setup, give it a few years and i aim to have the same style of setup! looking to get the same unit from ikea that uve got!

I must say it really annoys me that Microsoft is now starting to put up non-gaming ads there for gold subscribers. I thought it was only supposed to be ad-space for silver members, and just used to notify people of new content if they were on gold.

Excellent attention to by The Force. Looks like you have a good camera too, or at least know how to use one properly. I always struggle with shots using the light I have at home through my ineptitude with a camera.

Those speakers are very sexy. I've been looking for a new set for a while. Something a bit different.

Some updated pics of my stuff, should be in a nicer house in a few weeks.

Indeed, it's scary how he's picked up chord shapes already! He's obviously watched me play real guitar (obviously I let him help with strumming etc) and somehow picked up on the rough shapes to play a barre chord! I didn't even notice til I looked at the photo. He loves playin guitar hero, well, trying to. Picks up the guitar and tries singing LOL!

cheers Bada Bing...A man after me own heart....you're setup's lovely...there's a place for everything - and everything's in it's place!!...only rule of thumb I use when taking pics -never use a flash, and always use a tripod!(me camera's an average samsung 6Mpixel)...oh and why would you wanna replace those Tannoy's???!!!

Cheers mate, a tripod is what's missing for sure, as I bin loads of shots cos I must secretly be mr Shaky Hands Man from Banzai.

The main reason I'm looking to ditch the Tannoy's is bass. I bought them years ago before they had released the dual woofer Mx4's. I'm delighted with their peformance in 5.1, in fact I could ask for better, but the bass when playing back music is very poor. Could be a lot to do with the accoustics of the room as much as it is the lack of a 2nd woofer. Maybe I'll wait till we move before making any rash decisions.
