    Control one PC from another

I have my main PC w/ decent sound card connected to my Bravia, but when I play games, I would like to be able to play my Mp3's on this machine. I have another machine right next to it, but the sound card is not as good.

Is there an easy to way to control my main machine (which has Vista) from my other machine (XP Home) so that I can change Mp3's etc?

Depending on which version of Vista you have on the machine you want to control, you can use the built in Remote Desktop program. Under Control Panel > System on Vista.

If that gives you any grief check out VNC (Google it, I use RealVNC personally), which is a freely available remote desktop tool for multiple OSeseseseses.

I think only Vista Ultimate has Remote Desktop (Home Premium here), and likewise only XP Pro and not Home.

But I'll give that VNC a go

Just want to play my music really without having to keep switching the channel on my TV.
