Dreamcast, XBox and a PC monitor

I need to free the TV up so I'm not hogging it 24 hours a day for gaming... fortunately I have a rather spiffy 21" monitor on my PC.

Unfortunately I don't really know how best to go about getting my consoles to play through it. Specifically I'm interested in getting a UK Dreamcast and a US (but chipped) XBox to work through it.

I gather VGA adaptors are required but hear the word 'blurry' associated with them.

Also - how does the audio work? I have a half decent speaker system on my PC (not 5.1, but not too bad) that I could use.

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

to stop the blurryness i think you can get component to vga adapters that might work ok. for the sound the adapter will have a sound output socket or something.

this is something that you'll want to connect them to vga monitor

The DC has a specially designed VGA box so you can play most games in Hi-Res
