    PS2 version isn't that bad...

I'd still go cube mind you, due to the controller, but its not quite the same as the difference between Resi 4 PS2/GC for example.

There is a PAL GC version kicking about in the trading forums for £4 by the way. I'm 99% sure it has a 60hz mode but you might want to double check.

I find it the best d-pad of any system. How anyone can play on that tiny ass d-pad the cube uses is beyond me.

The Cube D-Pad the second worst D-Pad I've ever used. Second only to the 360 one.

The cube one also has the nicer graphics of the 2, less jaggy.

I don't use the d-pad, the stick is fine imo. Still playing through Ultra V-Rated difficulty on the first one and have yet to finish the second one. Bought the PS2 version for Dante but you have to complete the game first and it was such a chore using the dualshock pad. Will awaken Dantes heroness one day but there is plenty of VJ fun still to be had first. 5th Chamber!!!!!!!!

Dante is great fun to play. I unlocked him with an action replay code, and played him on my first and only time.

Not that big a deal I guess but VJ1 & 2 (US/ JPN only) on the 'cube support 480p. The PS2 games don't.
