Nintendo wii j-peg issues...

Has anyone had probs getting there wii to recognize some j-pegs? for me it will show most of them but still wont pickup certain jpegs even when i converted to jpeg just to make sure.I have made certain long filenames shorter and had some luck but some it just outright refuses to show them, just makes my picture layout look messy with loads of ? where the pix should be

Pure guess but load one of the offending pictures up in an image editor and check if they are standard(baseline) or progressive format.

Quite a few apps/game engine have issues with progressive jpegs.
