My Wii is lame at connecting to the Wifi dongle?

Yo.

My Wii is one metre away from the DS usb wifi dongle, once it connects its fine until i turn it off (the pc to break the connect24 connection)......

The problem is connecting in the first place, it either takes many connection attempts or it wont connect at all.....what could it be?

The Wii is next to a standing speaker & the tv speaker but surely this wouldnt make a difference?

Perhaps the magnets are interfering with the radio signal? Try moving your Wii a little further away from them.
