Good (and cheap) UK based website for R1 films

Can anyone help me with the above?

My gf wants to buy me a pressie for our 2nd year anniversary for next Saturday and I've requested for a R1 copy of Diamonds Are Forever.

Yes, I did originally ask for games but she said that I got too many...

Anyway, I'm desparate for a R1 version of Diamonds Are Forever as it'll will complete my uncut versions of all the Bond films out.

I've tried play247 but they don't have it!

Nowhere in this country can sell R1 films legally. Try www.cdwow.com - UK based but they ship from HK and are very reliable

Bad news I'm afraid mate!

I checked through some of the DVD sites that I know and they either don't list the that film at all, or if they do list it, It's listed as a discontinued item!

I noticed this on one UK site, and checked it on another very large US site, and it would certainly appear that at this time this DVD is unavailable - second hand, or finding a place that still has some stock would seem to be your only option.

I do know that all the Bond films have been discounted on region 2 (bar the newest one) so I think there is a good chance that R1 will have been stopped too. I reckon the best place to try now is eBay unfortunately.

MGM have pulled all of their James Bond DVD's. They plan to re-release them later this year. Last I heard an announcement was to be expected later this summer. No idea whether these will just be re-releases of the previous discs or improved ones. My guess is that they will be re-released just in time for the months leading up to Christmas.
