Hello i'm from the UK and i was thinking of buying an USA PS3 but i was wondering if there was anyway around getting it without paying extra for the weight of the Product???

I'm new to all this importing stuff and it still confuses me a little

If you know someone in the US, you could get them to mail it to you as a gift, and that will probably end up saving you money.

Speaking of imported PS3's, could someone who ordered one tell me how they packaged it? Did they just wrap some paper around the PS3 box, and mail it to you, or did they put the PS3 box inside an even bigger box with some packaging material?

I got one from a guy on Ebay last week & it came padded in a bigger box. But I got an extra pad & game as well.
