JAP GBM + EU adapter?

Just recieved my Japanese Famicom Micro, but can I connect it to my European power adaptor? I read on the EU one 230V and 50Herz, on the Japanese one 130V and 60Herz, does that matter?

If by eu adaptor you mean a uk gbm charger then yes, it'll be fine.

I think they mean they have a Japanese Game Boy Micro Charger - if so you cant just plug that into a UK wall outlet! - even with a plug adaptor/covertor. You would need a stepdown in order to use a Japanese Gameboy adaptor.
Alternatively the easiest thing to do would be to buy a UK Gameboy Micro charger, as that will charge a Japanese Gameboy Micro just fine

It's my third Micro so I have some EU (belgian, not UK) chargers lying around. I just wondered if it's safe to connect.

The charger from your belgium gbm will work 100% ok on a jap gbm. I use a uk gbm charger on my usa gbm with no problems.

How can you be sure it will be the same for a Japanese GBM? 230V and 130V is a huge difference.

If you have a gbm charger from your country it will work 100% ok on ANY region gbm us/eu/or jap. If it makes you feel any better im sure someone can confirm this for you

The internal power requirements of the Micro are exactly the same regardless of which region you got it from. All that's needed is the transformer part to take the power supply and convert to that requirement.

Hence you need to use a UK charger in the UK, Japanese charger in Japan etc... they just convert the 240V or 110V to the internal requirement. I use a UK charger for my US DS and Japanese GBA SP for example, no problems.
