This looks like quite a good deal, even more so with the mail they've just sent me saying they're giving a Free 5 Yr guarentee on everything they sell at over ?200 up untill the 8th march. And if there's one word of advice I could give it'd be not to go for a bigger screen than is really needed just because you can afford it, a screen too big makes playing games pretty tricky as it's easy to miss things. I got a 32" for my loft conversion and have had to move it as far back as possibe as on games like Gradius I was missing spotting so many things going on off the centre screen!!

You want to have a word with Lyris (send him a pm or I'm sure he'll be along in a min) on here, he knows all there is to know about teles, even tests them out I think. Also have a browse of avforums.

I'm also on the cusp of a purchase and it's come down to the Sony Bravia W series for me as they, from what I've read up on, seem to have the best pic for sd broadcasts as well as, obviously, a great hd pic and are 1080 out of the box so relatively future proof.

And lastly, John Lewis also give 5 year guarantees with every purchase and more importantly will pricematch.

            Hope that helps...

Certainly if I had the money, it'd be a Bravia W for me. 40", 1080p support over both HDMI and VGA.

I was gonna go for the 40' but am leaning towards the 46' now, if I can convince myself or more like my bank acc...
