Apparently there were home conversions for the Commodore 64 and PCs (MS DOS), and those were only released in the United States.

Sorry got myself all confused & started mentioning the Turtles arcade game MORORN!!!!!!!

Anyway instead of the Simpons scrolling Beater might I suggest the following

      TMNT: Hyperstone Heist (MD)
      TMNT: Turtles in Time (SNES)

Or any of the recent Turtles game on the Gamecube as they were all very good scrolling beat em ups IMO & all from Konami so very similair to the Simpsons one

It works in MAME on the xbox, had a four player of it recently. it's ace!

There used to be one at the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs near me.

Used to play it after the roller disco! LOL

I used to own the 4 player cabinet of this. It stood in my garage for a couple of years (alongside 3 player Super Sprint). Sold them on a few years back.

This and TMNT are probably my two favourite arcade games ever

There was a PC version that came out, i dont think it did 4 player but there was a 2 player option in it that involved two peeps trying to share a keyboard

Im dreaming that this will one day hit XBLA like turtles did

Might do, with The Simpsons movie out this year we can hope they do something like they did with TMNT.
