Few PC Classics good or bad

    As I got new PC.

Is this a good idea to buy

Sim City 4 (Is that good or latest version)
    Civilization 4
Theme Park (Are there any better)
    Aliens V Predator 2.

I'd say Rollercoaster Tycoon is a better buy than Theme Park. Either RCT2 for the isometric one (which I prefer) or theres a RCT3 which is full 3D (dont like this myself).

Civilization IV is one of the greatest games ever made, it's just unlimited fun, especially in multiplayer.

If you like that you should look into Europa Universalis, and the other games made by Paradox, they are a very similar style of stratergy game.

AVP 2 is amazing, you should also go and try and get Grim Fandango (possibly one of the greatest ever games made!) and good ol' worms armageddon or worms world party, there the 2 best ones (the 3d ones are poo!) Oh and definately go for RCT1, 2 is no where near as good!

Oh if you get worms armageddon, PM me and we could play online, just reinstalled last night and forgot how great the online play is!

AvP 2 is alright. It's a bit old hat now. I seem to remember the first one being way scarier too

FPS-wise you'd be better off going for the genuine classics - the Half Life games etc. The design in the vast majority of them was never first-class, and they're really graphics showcases. If you're looking for that, then you want some much newer stuff.

All the Civilisation games are excellent.
You should try Rise Of Nations. It's an excellent game that plays a bit like a blend of Age Of Empires and Civilisation.
Also, if you're into strategy, try Galactic Civilisations II. I've never played it, but I have it on good authority that it's excellent.

Have you tried the Infinity Engine RPGs? Baldur's Gate I & II, Planescape Torment, Icewind Dale I & II... all superb games that you can sink a ridiculous amount of time into.
