PS3 Games - Region Coding

Hi,

What is the situation with the Region Coding on PS3 Games / Movies, are they Region Free? or is everything territory locked?

PS3 games are region free, though some can detect the region of the console and adjust accordingly (country-specific online servers, languages etc).

Blu-Ray movies are region protected. Japan and USA share the same Blu-Ray region, and this is a different region to the UK.
There are an awful lot of region-free Blu-Ray movies too, mind.
