    BT keyboard on the PS3?

Anyone manged to sucessfully get one working?

Accessory settings/Register Bluetooth device only brings up

    Register BD remote Control
    Register Headset/microphone/headphones

Or is it only usb you can use?

Also, got my BT headset paired, but cant hear anyone talking in Resistance.

Anyone have any joy with a succesful conversation? And while im at it,isnt it frustrating trying to play your 'buddy'? Can see him,but no 'Join game' etc...

    Roll on Thursday night!

Logitech are bringing out a PS3 dedicated one Nick. It looks pretty sweet, and I'll be picking it up. I haven't tried one myself yet though. USB works fine however.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Didn't know Logitech were planning a PS3-specific one. While I don't have a problem playing shooters with console controllers, I'm that little bit more excited about UT3 if I can play it on my TV on a keyboard/mouse.

Hopefully more games will build in support for that method.

Yeah, the logitech has one of those laoptop touch pad things built in too. Don't know how that'll affect UT3 players, but I guess you can use a USB mouse alongside it.

I'll chat with you Nick, although I don't have Resistance. I can send you a chat request via the XMB though.

Bluetooth keyboard + mouse support is part of the listed improvements for the 1.6 firmware coming on Friday. You should l be able to use it then.

edit: interesting that the logitech one is USB, not bluetooth. Seems a bit strange that it would need a separate receiver.

I'll try my Apple Wireless Keyboard at the weekend and see if it will pair with the PS3 OK.

They aren't. It's been stated that a first-party K/b would be very costly and so they have left it to third parties instead.

Do you have the iMac and PS3 in the same room? I'd imagine it wouldn't cause any hassle but I'm unsure if you'll have to pair the mouse and keyboard each time you change which device you are using it with.
