cant connect online with a US copy of Motorstorm :(

It says "unable to connecto the motorstorm server" :
Is this because mine is the usa version? I have a UK PS3
I did the update for the game too.

There's maybe just problems with the servers at the moment.

I've played online a couple of time with my US copy. The game is currently 'region locked' for online play so you'll only be able to play on the US servers against people with a US copy of the game. At the moment it's not possible to play against people who own the UK version

First day of with their PS3 for most peeps, the servers are most likely taking a pounding !

same here, this morning up to about 2pm playing all morning online, played motorstorm, f1, rfom all good downloaded some stuff from the store, just tried and cant even sign onto the ps netork.

Well I have US PS3 and bought uk motorstorm today and had no problems connecting to Eu servers, don't know if it is any help or not?

Yes it is, could you also try Resistance by any chance if you have it ?

I have resistance but it is the US version. I suppose it would prove that I can log on through my Uk account. I assume I will still be playing on the US servers though.

Resistance is locked to the console region rather than the game, if memory serves.

Although Insomniac have said it allow all regions to play each against each other soon.
