Wii,PSP display help

I've search but can't find an anwser for a couple of questions,if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
1:I have a PAL Wii and wanted to know if I use the Freeloader to run NTSC games,can I get them to run in 480p with A Wii component lead?
2:Using 3.10 custom frimware and simple popstation to convert and run my NTSC PSX games the screen seems to crop at the top and bottom when playing in game but the title screens are full to the top and bottom,does anyone why this is?

1. American wii games or Gamecube games?

Wii games: Theres no freeloader that will do this. You'd have to get your console chipped.

Gamecube games: You may need an updated version, then you should be able to run American games in prog scan. (480p)
