PES6 controls on PS2 & 360 - are they the same?

A bit of a strange question I know, but I was wondering, are the PES controls mapped the same way on the 360 and the PS2? i.e. the triggers & buttons on the 360 map directly to the same controls as the front buttons on the dualshock?

From memory these are for things like sprinting, changing player and special moves.

My mate is struggling big time with it on the 360 and I think its because the 4 buttons are the wrong way round for him.
