I've worked out the Gamecube sound fault

Quite a few people have had problems with their Cubes, where the machine functions fine but with no audio.

I've worked out how to repair this fault now ^^ Gonna try the same thing with a Q tomorrow.

does that mean i can try a RGB lead on my JAP GC with the lazy switch mod, as i understand this combination can cause the sound fault !

Nice one Saur.. I'd be interested to find out how you did it

Replacement of some parts on the power regulator board perhaps?

Thas right - the components are unmarked, it's all about finding out what everything actually is.

I was selling a Q with no sound for 100 quid last week - its since been taken off the market thanks to the technical wizardry of the man called Saur

Shizer. I sent one of my broken Gamecube to Andy P off the VGI forums. He since did a disappearing act - I really, really, really wish I'd held onto it now.

Does this fix also sure the problem with the Digital AV out port?

                      Yes it does.

I'm not trying to be dark but I'm not giving out any information regarding this as I have worked damn hard to work it out.

What are you trying to say?

Nobody who has bought a cable off me has had any kind of problem so please dont imply I have been damaging people's machines.
