Acer Aspire 3620 Video driver??

just reformatted laptop after getting a virus but now i have no video (when trying to watch a video clip) i assume i just need to install a drive but i cant find it, can anyone help i have sound just no image. thanks

That's strange that you can see windows but you can't watch a video clip. Have you got the latest verson of Windows Media Player (assuming that's what you're using). Or are you trying to view a DivX movie? If you don't have the DivX codec on your PC and you are trying to view a DivX movie, it will just be black screen with the sound playing.

Could be loads of things mate. I'm just making it harder for you aren't I?

Cheers mate that was it for some reason my restore never copied over the new divX codecs so that was it, works perfect now cheers shame your skills in this matter don't resemble your skills on the pitch
