Playstation Store Maintenance - 3rd April

The Playstation Sore seems to be down worldwide at the moment for "maintenance".

I've not been able to find any information at all as to what is happening though. Anybody read anything about it?

I'm hoping it's something to do with Home as that's scheduled to start in April. It may well be nothing or just standard maintenance but keep an eye out for what is happening as the April Beta is listed as "limited" by Sony.

Sony said April for the first Beta and it is April.

the maintenance may just be in preparation for that Home, it doesn't mean it'll be downloadable today if even that's why it is closed.

It's back online now and there doesn't seem to be anything obviously different at the moment.

Ah, I thought as much to be honest.

Although if it's anything like the Halo3 beta they'll be flinging access to it around like no tomorrow.

It starts of with a closed Beta in April with approximately 1000 members. Then in August the open Beta starts with approximately 25,000 with a full release in October.
