A risk to put PS3 into router DMZ?

I've had my XBox and XBox 360 set to my router DMZ in the past to get NAT Type 1 but is it a risk at all to put the PS3 in DMZ?

Hopefully not but as the PS3 is a little more 'open' to having files transferred onto the HDD than the Xbox I thought it safer to ask before I go ahead.

Why there should be? I don't think the ethernet chip inside the PS3 is a non-standard one.

You shouldn't need to set it to DMZ... I would have thought the 360/PS3 come with information on what port needs to be opened for incoming connections.
