    posting processor

i have a processor to post in the mail. but i dont have a box to put it in, i was wondering if someone could recommend the best way to post it. i dont want the pins to get bent or being bashed around in a box. unfortunatly i cant find the original packaging i had for it. any recommendations?

Place it on foam, the foam will protect the pins. Then just bubble wrap it loads. Then place it in a thick card board box. Should protect it.

Fold a small amount of newspaper around it, stick it in a plain white envelope with a few 1st class stamps and charge a fiver for shipping.

That's how I got a £100 CPU not so long ago

go buy a household sponge, it'll do the job perfectly.

would some of that oasis stuff you use for flowers not work?

it's pretty resilient and you can press the chip into it without bending the pins. or at least cut a square out and sandwich it between two bits.
