    Paint Shop Pro 7 Picture Cropping.

    I think it is cropping anyway! Well, I need to do some presentations... I've got some things scanned onto my PC and I need them to have smooth edges around the item so that I don't get white corners on my back ground...

    So if I have a circle, instead of cutting it out as a square and copying that across to Powerpoint, I need to know what you need to do to draw around the outside of an image and its corners so you can cut the unnecessary white bits off...

    I hope you understand what I'm saying... I think you do...

    And infact it doesn't have to even be PSP, if you can do it in paint, can you tell me how, becuase all I've done for the past few years is drag across an image and ctrl-X and ctrl-V where I want it...

    I need it to follow the outline of the item in question now!

    Thanks;

    -Mike!

    One option would be, use the freehand tool to outline the object you want to cut, then from the Selection Menu, select modify, then feather.

    This produces a softedge to the cropped image. Very handy for merging images. Hope it helps.
