NTSC-U "FFXII" and "Okami" Prog Scan?

    Hi,

I have a USA PS3, and I'm running via HDMI to a Pioneer Plasma, 436XDE.

Playing these games, the signal is outputing as a standard SD NTSC image, and the Pio is converting to progressive.

Do these games support a progressive scan mode? Do I need to hold down a key or something? I can't find any options to do it.

    Any help appreciated.

That page shows you how to activate prog scan and what games support it. Seems pretty up to date too.

        Thanks very much guys.

Just finding the jaggies of FFXII a bit offputting, and I really want to like the game!

It'll still have jaggies in 480p, they'll just be clearer!

Yep, it's a neither. Although Okami has an LCD option which appears to make approximately 0 difference.

            Oh, and btw it's NTSC-U/C.

LOL, taking into account my first import machine was an Jap Megadrive in 1992, and I've imported Jap/US machine each generation from then, you would think I'd worked that out by now!

I blame Blueray. It's region scheme is messing my head up.

              Sorry for the typo!
