USB extension cable?

Does anyone know if using this on my 360 wireless router will hamper my connection in any way or if it's fine and dandy.

i moved my 360 onto the floor on the landing and i get perfect connection, but i can't leave my massive xbox 360 on the landing waiting to be troden on.

Yes, it surely will. These cables are just dumb pass-throughs. USB has a maximum cable length which requires clever "repeater" cables for extending longer lengths, but for two or three metres these are fine.

You should be able to get them a lot cheaper than that, tho' - these cables are often given away with USB wireless adaptors for PCs. I'd be shocked to pay more than ?1.50, but of course postage may be a factor.

I use a USB extension cable with my 360's wireless adaptor. It works fine.
