    Xbox 360 - Media HELP!!

OK - can someone please help

    I have the following:

pc connected to router (the sky broadband netgear one) via ethernet

    xbox 360 via wireless

I can connect to xbox live no worries but...

How the h**l can I look at photos, stream movies etc I've looked at so many bl**dy guides etc and none address my problem

My pc cannot even 'see' a wireless network and when I go into WMP v 11 library to share media - no xbox shows up to select even when both are on.....

Could it be my zonealarm firewall?

it's driving me **&^%$^ mental pls help me obi wan kenobi, you're my only hope

Is your 360 connected to the same router as the PC, just via wireless? Assuming it is, you shouldn't need the PC to find a wireless network because they're actually already on the same network. Think of the wireless connection as being the same as an ethernet one, just...wireless. They're both going through the same router.

It should just be a matter of going onto your computer and installing Windows Media Connect (Windows Media Player 11 also does it but that's a bloated POS IMO) and then they'll be able to find each other. Just make sure the 360 is authorised within WMC and then get the 360 to search for computers.

Yes, probably. Try turning it off.

I have a similar setup and need to disable ZA for the 360 to "find" my computer.
