Don't think there's been any announcment as yet, in fact I thought the rumour was that it may just be repackaged as a premium come Xmas but who knows.
Just import one, that's what I did last Fri, turned up Mon...hurray! Still too loud though but I digress...

When the announcement was made for the US, the HMV boss (I think it was) said they expected to be getting the console at the end of the summer. Personally, I would wait until then anyway, as production of cooler chips begins around then, too.
If you bought a US machine, only US games would work on it, or region free games from other regions.Comment

I'd just a buy a cheap core if I were you and upgrade later. I want an Elite, but it's anyones guess as to when it'll be out over here. It's £150 for a core at Boots.Comment
