Action replay MK3 SNES PAL cart on NTSC console

would a PAL AR MK3 for the SNES work on an NTSC console (when the cart slot has been fixed)?its a question raised by a potential buyer on ebay, and I have no idea, I cant test it myself, I dont have an NTSC console.

Don't see why not...

the mk2 definitely works on the ntsc console, and I've used the mk3 on a switched pal with no problem (as a bridge for a modded mario rpg cart).

ah ok thanks. funny you mention mario rpg running on 60Hz PAL snes using the ar3 as a bridge, my mario rpg cart was also modded, but recently when trying to use the ar3 as a bridge, i just got a black screen, although i could have sworn it worked before. nothing wrong with the cart, as I took the PCB out and plugged in straight and worked fine. well its all irrelevant anyway, mario rpg was flogged for ?45 on ebay, shame really as it was a boxed mint copy but, financial problems...well thats what emulators are for

I thought EU cheat codes differed from US cheat codes. Can you just input both on a (PAL) Action Replay?

"Shadow_Zero" - you dont need to keep bumping old threads! If you have a question you could just made a new thread, especially since most of the threads you have bumped seem related to Action Replays & Import convertors...
