    Router firmware issue

    Hi there

    I have been having problems with my Speedtouch 585 router and checking a few sites found a possible solution might be to flash the router with it's firmware.

    I have downloaded the firware off of the Speedtouch site but it is a bin file and my PC seems to want to play it with VLC. How do I get it into a state that the router can be flashed. I know that bin files are ones to be burned onto disc but when I do this is Nero it just keeps it as a vlc file.

    Just run the Upgrade wizard (upgradeST.exe) from the CD
    and load the binary (*.bin) file.

      Cheers for that. Worked a treat. Really should have figured that out but I blame the hangover !
