Castlevania Collection/Anthology??

Did Capcom ever release a Castlevania Collection/Anthology set on the PS2? I vaguely remember that they did some time back but I can't find it anywhere now.

It may have been something which was just a rumour though.

If they haven't why not??
This would surely sell loads with all the old games on it, it's far more interesting than those endless Street Fighter & Sonic collections which get thrown around by them!!

Strangely, Konami haven't released a Castlevania set. The closest thing is this, which came out on PC some time back:

It makes more monetary sense for Konami to release each title on its own for Virtual Console / Live Marketplace / PS store.

True but you could also say that about the other seemingly endless collections that are released.

They released a double-pack of the two GBA games together on one cart a little while ago too if that helps...
