PES6 questions for Xbox360

I recently purchased a 360 and (amongst other games) PES6.

One of my friends, who is more of a football fan than a gamer, is keen on the 360 due to it's online capabilities. We both live in the UK.

I wanted to check:
a) is it possible to play online against each other (I think the answer to this is yes)?
b) is it possible for us to play as a pair against randoms online?
c) has anyone tried b) and what is it like trying to set up a game

Apologies, but the Xbox live website is not helpful and I have getting conflicting stories on the online capabilties of this game

a) Yes you can play each other online if you both have a 360 and Gold Live memberships.
b) Unfortunately no you can't pair up and play. (I presume by pair you mean 2 vs 2)
c) Can't do b) so not possible to answer.
