PC fax software

Hi all,

Im looking for some pc faxing software to send bulk faxes to a number of our business clients. I have no experience with this, can anyone recommend some software?

I cannot recommend anything from first hand experience, but check out www.download.com ... and search for fax That site also usually has a decent amount of reviews for the software available.

Windows.

It has a built in fax thing, and you can basically instead of telling windows to print to a printer, tell it to print to a fax number, and it'll, uh, fax it.

Go to control panel, "printers and faxes" - should be able to right click and select "set up faxing".

I use MightyFax which is really good and pretty cheap, though I'm not sure about bulk faxing....

Thanks for the leads guys, I'll look into each. I need it to send to approx 20,000 numbers from our office, so I'm guessing I'll need something fairly heavy duty!

edit: Just tried the windows one, and I've learnt something... Apparently I need to have a modem installed, is there anyway I can send from a networked machine using our net connection?

Broadband is different from the phone line (it just happens to biggypack on it if you use adsl). Faxes work over phone lines.

So.... You either need to sign up to a service that will turn your document into a fax and send them for you, or get a modem.

We use something in work to do the same thing, I will find out what the programme is called today and let you know.
