A soundblaster Live and a nForce2 mobo? Probably not needed, the nForce2 has pretty much what the Xbox does, sound wise.

Sound blaster drivers are ****e and caused me to sell my audigy anyway, as hw said the onboard sound is good !

Well, the l33t here will procrastinate over how Creative labs cards will offer better sound acceleration, s/n ratio etc.

Me? I'll just take the audio that came with the motherboard. Hell, it has optical out, what more do you need.

I assume that motherboard does Dual DDR too - in which case you'll get a little more speed going with two 256MB sticks instead of one 512MB, I believe.

And I can vouch for the nForce2 sound being pretty good

By the way, are you doing anything which specifically requires the 2 hdds? I seem to recall you had a third, too. Could use that for data backup and have a fatter single main drive.

Less power drawn on the psu and less heat in the case. Just a suggestion.

I collect music videos so i need alot of space to store them, i wanted the 30gb just to install windows on and games etc.

Also, what kind of fans do i need for that case?

It'll come with fans. If you feel (during load) that the ambient temp is kicking a little high, see if the case allows for additional fans and pop em in (just measure the fan socket).

Don't think so. The cpu is retail boxed, so won't need a seperate hs/fan.
