I've only tried this on Crackdown and Halo 3 so far, but whenever I speak into my wireless headset, it doesn't pick up that I've said anything. The voice icon in Halo 3, for example, doesn't change to the little speaker, and the only way I can get it to work is to angle it very close to my face and practically shout down it.
Now, I know the mic itself works, because I recorded a message and played it back and it picked up my voice perfectly, even when I was whispering; however, I imagine that recorded messages are set to record for the whole 15 seconds, rather than activating when it detects a loud enough sound, so would I be right in thinking that there is a problem with the headset's sound level detection making it not 'listen'? Is there a sensitivity setting that I can adjust? I don't want to start shouting down it all the time and I need it to be reliable.
Anyone else have this problem? The old wired headset is fine, but that's much closer to my mouth obviously.
