    PS2 Wireless pads

Hi, what wireless ps2 pads would you recommend? Im looking for something as close to a dual shock as possible, as i loathe 3rd party pads. I hear Sega made some, as did Hori, are those any good? PS3 pads wont work i take it? Cheers for your help.

The Logitech wireless controller is great, but is a bit hard to find in the shops. Loads on ebay though.

I used to have the Hori Anashin 2 controllers.

Very close in size and performance to a dualshock, but they eat their way through batteries and the receiver is massive too.

I recommend the Logitech Wireless as well.

x2 2800mAh AA has lasted me over 50 hours with vibration.

Edit - not sure if released in UK, but loads on eBay.

It looks ok. How does it 'feel'? The d-pad, sticks and buttons? Tight? Loose? Like a dual shock?

I really like the SurfWave controller. Great looks.

Its just a bit heavier than a WaveBird and feels comfortable to use.

The receiver as a blue light thats stops flashing when the controller is synced.

I have not figured out what the mode button does. Rapid?

Maybe its just me but very very occasionaly the X button seems to not respond - might be imaging this so dont let that detract from purchasing one.

In fact I have ordered another just the other week.

I had to return my first SurfWave to PlayAsia ( when they stocked them ) as it through a wobbler - just before the 3 month PA warrenty - vibration locked on and the controls would not respond. Reinstalling new batteries seemed to just seemed to kill it which was strange.

Which retailer are you using btw?

So the first one crapped out. It happens

My other is just fine proberly just my imagination. I perhaps should not have posted any perceived misgivings.

After all I do like the controller thats why I have ordered another.
